ABOUT PASTOR ANGEL MORALES
Pastor Angel Morales graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary St. Louis in 2014. He received his first call to serve as Associate Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School in Aurora Illinois.
Pastor Angel Morales is a carpenter by trade. He is passionate about the world of construction, home design and remodeling.
Married to MariaIsabel (Deaconess), they share 6 children: 3 boys and 3 girls. The oldest of their sons Jesus Morales currently serving as sole pastor at Christ Our Savior Winfield, Illinois.
From the beginning of his pastorate, Pastor Angel Morales has been concerned with seeking and preparing men and women for the pastoral and diaconal ministry. From 2014 to the present, he offers basic pre-seminary level theology classes of to encourage and inspire men and women to serve as professional workers in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Over his 9 years of service at St Paul Aurora, Pastor Morales has prepared and sent 3 students to Concordia Seminary in St Louis, Missouri, all of whom successfully completed their studies and graduated in 2021. He is currently preparing 3 women as candidates for the diaconate and 2 men as candidates for pastoral ministry.
Pastor Angel Morales is fluent in both Spanish (native) and English. He has dedicated his years in the ministry to reaching the Spanish-speaking community of the Aurora and the surrounding area by preaching the message of reconciliation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Morales has a deep passion for the Great Commission. He knows that to continue the expansion of the Kingdom it is necessary that the main task of the church is to make disciples which is why he has developed 5 practical steps for the implementation of the great commission. These steps include (1) Social Capital, (2) Execution, (3) Speed, (4) Intentionality, and (5) Practicality.
He has a great interest in systematic theology, expository preaching, and the study of pneumatology. He is most passionate about Chapter 3 of the book of Genesis. Above all, he deeply appreciates the undeserved privilege of sharing Jesus Christ and Him Crucified every time he has the opportunity.
He confesses, believes, and teaches that the best way to serve the Lord is by serving our neighbor according to each one’s vocation.
Currently offers services every Sunday, 11:30 am at Hope Lutheran Church in Aurora IL.
